'Makers were chosen through a national open call by an expert judging panel, and every artwork has been carefully positioned throughout the historic interiors of Standen House, creating a dialogue between contemporary creativity and one of the country's most significant Arts & Crafts collections.
Whether you're an art collector, National Trust member, maker, or simply looking for inspiring days out in Sussex, this exhibition offers a unique opportunity to experience contemporary craftsmanship in an extraordinary historic setting.'

Celebrating its 30th anniversary, Festival of Crafts is a vibrant showcase of the UK’s best contemporary craft and design, bringing together over 90 talented makers from across the country.
Discover a curated selection of handcrafted jewellery, ceramics, stationery, accessories, furniture, lighting, textiles, and print. The festival offers a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere where visitors can browse the stands, meet the makers, and buy directly from them.
Each day also features a programme of bookable workshops and free demos from craft experts, offering plenty of inspiration and creativity for all ages.

BLUE MAGPIE CONTEMPORARY CRAFT FAIR

"Blue Magpie grew from the passion of its Founder, Anna Taylor, who has had a love of craft and design her whole life. From learning to draw and paint with her aunt as a child, to becoming a silversmith herself, Anna is passionate about craft and supporting other makers. Her dream was to create a space where makers could showcase their work and following the restoration of Elmslie House, where Anna lives with her family, the Blue Magpie Contemporary Craft Fairs were launched."
